Water Polo

Water Polo is a 7-a-side game played in a 2m-deep pool where athletes cannot touch the bottom and must tread water for four 8-minute quarters, using the "eggbeater kick" to lift their torso out of the water. Much of the contact happens below the surface, the "exclusion" penalty creates 6-on-5 advantages, and the pace stays relentless from start to finish.
