Athletics (Race Walk) Final session
TBD • To be announced, TBD
Often misunderstood, Race Walking is a technical, high-speed discipline over 20km and 35km, governed by a strict rule: the advancing leg must stay straight from first contact until it passes under the body, and one foot must stay in contact with the ground at all times. Athletes move at a stunning pace using a distinctive hip-driven stride, and the "red card" system means three calls from different judges end your race. It is a sport of precise biomechanics, where one tired step can erase hours of work.
